A graduate of Radclifffe College (A.B. 1914), Colcord worked as a statistician in the War Department (1917-1919), for General Motors Corporation (1919-1921), at the Russell Sage Foundation (1927-1929), and at the Karlsten Statistical Laboratory in New Haven, Conn.
